Good point @stephdl. I’ll look at spinning up a jitsi meet server on Ubuntu then on my Proxmox cluster.
it’s really too bad that I can’t get Talk to work on Nethserver. I don’t have firewall enabled on my Nethserver so I can’t figure out why it won’t work? I’ll keep looking into Talk on Nethserver/Nextcloud and hopefully one day figure out the issue. For now I’ll look for another solution in Jitsi Meet.

Deploying jitsi meet on Nethserver (independent video conferencing)
@yummiweb similar challenges on my end, with regards to authentication. Also, installing lets encrypt on a jitsi server, can be easy, but renewal can be a pain to achieve.
Since it mentioned that jitsi meet on centos is community supported, wouldn’t we the Nethserver community support a version of Jitsi meet installation, for Nethserver, that integrated authentication in some form. i believe we can also increase the number of our community with such kind of integration.
We are an open community of great minds etc. I wish i had a deeper understanding of server admin and the inner workings on Nethserver, how many great things i imagine in my head, but can only rely on other members to implement.
Someone reading this, might notice there has been a spike in video conferencing and collaboration tools on this community forum, well that’s what we need.

Hi Stephane and others, hope you’re fine in this … hum … “special time” (?), good news here 
Do you kniow “Michel Andre” has released complete documentation for few month in order to install Dolibarr on Nethserver (he posted it here) ?
I use it on sme-server for 5 year now and IMO, it is the best CRM & ERP (I don’t have give a try to others)
Attestation/certification is only for business in shop (vente au comptoir) or in general for VAT…
Another process to hold-up in our “tiroir-caisse” 
EDIT : I’ve find a company (preferred dolibarr partner who’ve check my installation and sold me an attestation for 120€ (it is valuable for minus-update but not major versions)

I read all the links you suggested and in one of them it pointed to a link (https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-use-systemctl-to-manage-systemd-services-and-units#editing-unit-files), which says to modify with systemctl edit elasticsearch.service.
I tried that.
It didn’t work the first time because I only added the parameter.
I added: [Service] and under it: TimeoutStartSec=300 and this time, it worked.
I tried that way because someone wrote that if you vi the file directly, the modifications will be erased by an update. (https://unix.stackexchange.com/questions/227017/how-to-change-systemd-service-timeout-value)
Instead of editing the package’s service file in
/usr/lib/systemd/system/which will get overridden on package upgrade…
It talked about editing in /usr/lib... which is not what you wrote which says to edit in /etc/systemd/system/...
To verify, I added TimeoutStartSec=300 in /etc/systemd/system/..., then upated - the added parameter didn’t get erased in /etc/systemd/system/....
Do you think that it is better to use systemctl edit elasticsearch.service or it is not necessary?

No, I think editing the files in /etc/… should work. They shouldn’t be replaced on updates.

Yes I think so, dolibarr is a software for shop/company/association. Easy to take in hand mostly when a big ERP will be a pain to be configured.

Firewall can not store 'any' inside rule
I tested changing the policy and it worked.
Create a custom template:
mkdir -p /etc/e-smith/templates-custom/etc/shorewall/policy
cp /etc/e-smith/templates/etc/shorewall/policy/20policy_openvpn /etc/e-smith/templates-custom/etc/shorewall/policy/
Edit /etc/e-smith/templates-custom/etc/shorewall/policy/20policy_openvpn and comment out the specific ACCEPT lines. In my case ovpn is not allowed to connect to the firewall ($FW) and my local network (loc) by policy.

Apply the config with signal-event firewall-adjust
Now everything is rejected, except you explicitly allow it.
Note that there’s an OVPN object you may use for all openvpn traffic.
It’s working as local rule too:
In this case it was allowed through policy before it would have been rejected.

Adding an element to the proxy whitelist at cockpit
Which blacklist are in use? If Shalla or Toulouse, take a look at webtv and sex categories. This categoires are either in one or the other but not both at the same time and that can cause a validation error. Try removing the category that is unavailable for the blacklist in use.

So we can Have a seprate bigbluebutton server deployed on a seprate server, then this app installed the way we install nethserve modules, then configure the necessary config items to get the location of BBBlocation and we are good to go.
First i need to deploy BBButon and then test this on existing Nethserve risntance…
If it works, get way to automate deployment of this app. and have all schools use same BBButton server, but different nextcloud instances, which can be deployed on small vps from stored block storage

MeshCentral (web-based remote computer management)
MeshCentral is a free open source web-based remote computer management software. Target end-points are Linux, BSD, MacOS and Windows computers with Intel AMT or where an agent is installed. It allows to remotely manage and control computers on a LAN or a WAN, performing remote desktop, remote terminal, file transfers…
MeshCentral includes its own messaging web application it can be used to chat, transfer files and optionally used for audio and video chat.

Setting up virtual host to allow 2 different websites, with different DNS providers

I hope everyone is having a good evening.
I have been running NethServer for a longtime. I also have been running a website from it as well. I am wanting to bring up a 2nd website on the same server.
I am not going to put the name of my websites, just name holders…
To be able to reference the 1st website lets just say my 1st website is myweb1.com
To be able to reference the 2nd website lets just say my 2nd website is myweb2.com
My first website is running under Web root path - /var/www/html/ (Would others recommend running the main website as the default path? if not please let me know why.)
I use register.com for myweb1.com and godaddy for myweb2. Obviously I have myregister.com setup correctly in register.com.
So the first website seems to work fine. I even have Webtop running and I can connect via main website. http://mywebsite.com/webtop/
In NethServer, I have gone into >Applications>Website settings>Virtual hosts
I created a virual host - myweb2.com gave it a discription and selected create.
the web root path for myweb2.com on nethserver is - /var/lib/nethserver/vhost/59f3a47b4503d32/
I am trying to get my second website myweb2.com to show up on the internet. I have already allow it to propogate on internet from nethserver and godaddy are correct.
I know it requires some possible A,SRV,CNAMES that point it back to the nethserver and the FQDN of the site. Possibly on both godaddy and nethserver.
Here is what I have setup already. For godaddy I purchase a domain, then I setup the following records for myweb2 -
Type…Name…Value…TTL
A …@…111.111.111.111…1/2 (IP ADD shown not real one)
A … *…111.111.111.111…1/2 (IP ADD shown not real one)
CNAME…www…@…1/2
I have let it replicate more then 24 hrs.
When I go to www.myweb2.com. I get the www.myweb1.com website that comes up.

Setting up virtual host to allow 2 different websites, with different DNS providers
DNS should be ok when myweb2 shows myweb1.
It seems the virtual host name (the domains) of myweb2 is not correct. If the host you enter in browser does not match the virtualhost name or you use the IP address you’ll see the default site.
Did you upload some files to the virtualhost?
The virtualhost module is designed to run websites with different settings(php, cert etc.) so I’d recommend to run the sites with it.

Proxmox HA chat
I am looking to setup 3 proxmox servers using ceph all 3 will have a 10GB backend link I want to use the 10TB drive on each server as main drive that will be shared between hosts and vm’s. I was thinking of perhaps splitting the 10TB drive into 2 5TB 1 for data and 1 where I can move VM’s between hosts.
They are going to have a decent amount of memory and I am just looking for suggestions and/or pretty decent documentation.
I did think about going 2 hosts and a freenas box to be used for storage. FYI HA may not be really necessary as long as I can minimize downtime and can move vm’s between hosts.
Any suggestions or recommendations will be much appreciated.

thank you, for the links but this funtion is not clear for me. (btw. the „i“ overlay didtn work in safari).
what means „normal users“? directory users without admin-rights or posix users (and posix admins also)?
and what means administrators? members from directory admin-group und/or members from posix-admin group also?
it seems not possible in the „add“ section to give acces to posix-groups (because you cant select such one in the list).
to „trial and error“ with this setting is not the best idea i think. in some cases you could close out the last admin (in my case the directory admins have no rights for sudo normally). and also if this setting (preference) is changed in update process or was this an unplanned behavior?
and what is the default here after nethserver/centos installation? normally the posix admins have rights to ssh after installation without enabling something.
